Matthew 18:19-20

Matthew 18:19-20 - Again, I tell you if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three come together in my name, there I am with them.

God values unity. In fact, He demands it. We are to be united like He and Jesus are united with the Holy Spirit. They are three in one. There is such unity with the ‘Trinity’ that it is impossible to tell exactly where one stops and the next begins.
This is the kind of unity that God wants for us. And not just in the ‘church’, but in the entire body of Christ. When we enter into this degree of unity with fellow believers, things happen. We become a force that cannot be stopped.
Here in this passage of scripture Jesus makes it clear that as we join in unity with others in His name, He will be right there with us.
Think about it, if we are divided on something how can Christ be with what we are doing. We are both believers and have Christ in us, but He can’t be divided. So when we are divided and in disunity Christ cannot be in what we do, but if we join together in agreement Christ will be there. He says so right here.
When we reach this point of unity with each other in Christ everything we agree on will be done. There are no limitations at this point. When we are unified together in Christ we are unstoppable.
