Romans 3:22-24

Romans 3:22-24 - This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. There is no difference, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that came by Jesus Christ.

‘For all have sinned.’ This is the first step in realizing we need Jesus. If you don’t understand the gravity of your situation, you will never understand your need for a Savior. As we recognize the sin in our lives we must also understand that sin brings death.
Sin separates you from God and if you are apart from God you cannot live. “The penalty of sin is death.” Due to our sin we all deserve to die, but God intervened on our behalf.
As I mentioned the first step is recognizing the sin in your life, but you don’t stay there. Verse 24 brings us the hope that will keep us going, ‘[All] are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.’
We are saved from our sin by the grace of God! It takes faith on our part , but that’s it. Christ did the rest. He came and took our sin upon Himself. Our sin deserved death and He took that penalty from us. He died so that we can live. And since He was innocent He was resurrected so now we can live in Him! 
We must recognize our sin so we can understand the magnitude of what God did for us. Now we live our life in Christ to bring glory to God!!
